season 5 of brooklyn nine nine has been nothing but pure gold. they’re really pushing their limits as a sitcom and taking risks on things they wouldn’t normally do and it’s paying off in such beautiful ways. the fact that they don’t settle for what they know works and is comfortable says so much about how much they value this show and these characters and it’s amazing to see how far they’ve come.
