Max and Magnus are going to meet this season so I just want you to imagine:

  • Max thinking that Magnus is simply the COOLEST person in the world. (Alec is distraught for all of .2 seconds until he sees how delighted Magnus is)
  • Magnus also being absolutely taken with the littlest Lightwood and telling him fairy tales as Max listens enraptured.
  • Magnus conjuring up shapes with his magic and Max running across the room trying to catch them.
  • Max demanding that his wardrobe is more colorful like Magnus’ 
  • Magnus sneaking Max little treats especially sour candies (those are Max’s favorite)
  • Magnus getting a call from Izzy because “My brother just got into a fight defending your honor. Alexander?! No, you idiot! Max.”
  • Magnus being the ONLY one who can call Max, Maxwell. 
  • Alec watching them with so much fondness and thinking of what a future with Magnus could have in store.

Anyway Yk what I want to see in season 2? Now that we had the passionate, a little desperate “time is running from us” exposed to everyone kiss?
I want the slowest, sweetest, most romantic “we have all the time in the world” kiss. I want Magnus to lean in and kiss Alec once and very short and very sweet and so very very soft and pull back immediately, and then I want Alec with a hand on Magnus’ jaw to just lean back in and kiss him, slow and sugary-shy, the softest kiss for kissings sake, one that is not driven by “I have to do this” but by “I want to do nothing else but this”; Alecs hand fond on Magnus cheek with a thumb brushing gently along his jaw, and a simple moment of just. The sweetest kiss. Noses brushing, foreheads together, smiling against each other’s mouth on the pull-apart to lean in again, just one more time. Always just once more.

– ok so obviously they fall madly in love with each other but they’re both in deep denial because the other is obviously just doing it for The Act

– they both get progressively more jealous of each other bc alec confided in magnus that he used to have a Thing for jace and magnus said that he just got out of this really bad relationship with his ex camille and basically they’re both fucking idiots and think the other is into someone else????

– they get in a massive screaming match somewhere private about “if you’re into someone else just say so” or whatever and magnus says something like “i know this is all fake but i thought you cared about me, you know, deep down” and alec is just like

– and then they date properly for many years and get married and adopt two babies and i run screaming into the abyss crying because of these nerds
