Hey guys! 

So I know I’m not the person yall have come to expect to be making this post but I was asked if I could please take over leading this fic, so here I am, having never ever organised such a thing before ahjshjdshjd. But whey-heeeeey, Challenge Accepted!!! 

What the hell is the Rebelcaptain Food Travel AU Round Robin? 
Basically, this all started with a video of Diego Luna eating stuff. I know, I know, simple right? But naturally, our brains just went to ‘rebelcaptain food travel au’ and Jaded made a moodboard for it. @sambargestuff made the comment that it would be cool if
different writers from all over the world in the fandom came together to write
this story, since we are from so many different places, and we all apparently took to this idea with gusto, hahahahha. 

So what is this fic gonna be about? 
You can check out the aforementioned moodboard, but to summarise: Cassian is asked to be the presenter for a new food/cooking show called “Viajes deliciosos” (which my basic non-existent Spanish tells me means something like ‘Delicious Journey’? Please inform me if someone can translate this better!). His network has asked him to do this event series where he travels all over Europe, visiting markets, tasting the food, learning to cook certain dishes, basically your typical travel food show. At the last minute a camera operator is too sick to make it, and in comes Jyn Erso to replace them. 

Together, they travel Europe for several months with the rest of the show crew, filming episodes based around the foods of all the different countries (AND MAYBE THEY FALL IN LOVE A LITTLE ALONG THE WAY, EEYYYYYYY <3)  

So how is writing this fic going to work? 
Basically, each chapter will be based around one city and/or country. A different author will write each one. I will write the first and last chapters, as Jaded was going to do! 

Sounds cool as, how do I sign up? 
At the bottom of this post, I’m going to put a draft order of all European countries that could potentially be written about. Basically, you can either reblog this and add, or reply to this post, with what country/city you would like to write about! I will collect everyone’s responses to see whether there’s still interest in this idea and make a list. Then, we’ll go from there! 

Please note, you absolutely do not have to be from a country to write about it. There’s really no criteria you have to meet. The idea is just that you have experience enough about the food/country in general to feel comfortable writing it. Maybe you lived abroad, maybe your cousin is from there, maybe you just really really like Greek food, hahaha. So long as you feel comfortable writing about it, it’s all good! 🙂 

I want to do this, but I know nothing about food 😦 
It’s ok!!!!! You can always base your chapter more about the country, or the relationships, or the funny comments the show gets on Youtube, or anything else really. 

But I’m from X country and someone’s already doing that one 😦 
It’s ok!!!!!! We can have six Germany chapters and zero Croatian, it’s totally fine if someone is already doing a country you’re interested in! 

I’m from America/Asia/Oceania/Africa and don’t feel comfortable writing about Europe 😦 
It’s also ok!!!!!!! We can write a sequel based in the Americas! Or Asia! Or wherever in the world! We want to be able to include absolutely anyone who wants to do this. For simplicity and organisation’s sake, we’re going to start with Europe, but there’s no telling where this could go in the future. :))) 

Are there rules? Deadlines? Exactly how committed to this do I have to be? 
The idea is that this is a fun way of everyone being able to come together, so there’s not going to be too many rules and/or limitations, and definitely no deadlines. We want to keep things as light and no pressure as possible. 🙂 There will simply be a set of guidelines based on what Jaded has written already to give everyone a clear sense of what we hope to achieve with this project, which I’ll put in a seperate post! 

Blah, blah, shut up Jordan, just give me the list of countries already

Ireland/Scotland/Wales 
France 
Belguim 
Netherlands 
Germany 
Denmark/all the Scandinavia 
Czech Republic

Eastern Europe (Lithuania/Estonia//Ukraine/etc) 
Southern Europe (Romania/Bulgaria/Croatia/etc) 
Greece 
Hungary 
Austria 
Italy 
Switzerland 
Maybe Spain and Portugal? 
End of the story back in England! 

This list is not exclusive. We can add/take away countries as needed. Again, if more than one person wants to write about a particular country, maybe we can organise it as each does a different city there. 

Anyway, I think that’s enough info for one post! Again, for the guidelines I’ll link to the other post. I’m also going to tag some people who I believe have expressed interest in this in the past.
