lmao imagine someone trying to save bitty from being “bullied” by the samwell men’s hockey team because they saw bitty looking sad while being surrounded by 6′+ guys

at this point bitty is just used to people being weirded out that he’s on the hockey team

OKAY BUT

Dave’s a decent guy. He’s new to Samwell, arrived on an LAX scholarship, and is super pumped to be going to such an LGBTQ-friendly campus. He’s out, proud, and 6 ft 3, so if anyone’s got a problem with him he can show them where to shove it.

The thing about Dave is, he’s a bleeding-hearts kind of guy. So when he sees this small, blonde, extremely attractive guy being harassed by a bunch of dudes Dave’s height, he knows he has to step in. As he approaches the group of boys from across the road, Dave can see the skates the ginger one’s got thrown over his shoulder.

The hockey team, he thinks darkly. He’s heard all about the Samwell Men’s Hockey Team from the LAX bros. A bunch of assholes if ever there was one, apparently. And he can see it now as the blonde guy’s face falls even further, face scrunching up to stop tears as the hockey players crowd him. Suddenly the blonde guy is hidden from view by tall backs, and Dave’s had enough.

“Hey!” he shouts, causing a couple of them to glance around. “Hey, assholes!”

The SMH turn to glare at him in full force, revealing the blonde guy between them. A handsome, dark skinned dude holds an arm in front of the smaller one as if stopping him from escaping.

(In retrospect, Dave probably should have realized he was being protective.)

Everyone loves the trophy husband Jack, famous chef Bitty. And I am 110% behind that, but consider this.

Master Chef Junior, Judge Bitty.

Bitty just, loving ever kid. so. much. but having a soft spot for the teeny tiny baker. The kids, being completely terrified when they have to make a pie – (”it’s Chef Bittle’s specialty and I’m 9 OMG) and Bitty just being so, so encouraging and telling them how beautiful their pies are.

Then a team challenge comes up, where suddenly the restaurant is filled with hungry NHL players, and the kids have to cook perfect, nutritional meals that fit with strict diet plans; while competing with each other. And Jack had wormed his way into the kitchen to tell the kids about the challenge, and everyone is expecting him to like, barely smile and tell the kids “lots of protein”. But that’s not what happens, because Jack might give the most awkward sound bites ever to reporters but these are kids and Jack loves kids. He also knows how to talk to foodies.

So he gives this speech to the kids, before they start the challenge. Tells them, to work together as a team, and be creative – they’re not as restricted as they think but that the team is super picky about pie so they might wanna try something different for dessert.

Then they try to get him to leave and he doesn’t want to?? They try to film him leaving, do the walk by the tables and giving high fives, but some of the kids have questions, and he stops to answer them. So eventually Bitty has to walk over and be like ‘honey no, the kids have work to do. You can play with them after dinner.” (spoiler alert: he does.)

OH MY LORD Y’ALL

Bitty = Gordon Ramsay.

Like he will be an absolute passive-aggressive terror to adult chefs who should know what they’re doing but are still being ignorant or rude or something, and so he’ll build up this kind of infamous reputation.

BUT THEN when the sweet little kiddos come along, he is 120000% supportive of them and all the kiddos love him oml.

Also yes of course Dad Zimmermann would adopt every child that came on the show I’m alive.

AU in which Coach Hall’s son comes out to his parents and while they are
obviously very supportive if slightly surprised, they don’t really know how to
deal with it?

Like in terms of, should they do more to help him with this
realisation? Are they being supportive enough? Are they smothering him? Can
they ask about boys? Should they tell the rest of the family when they ask
about him?

They are honestly good parents trying to do the right thing, they just
aren’t sure how to go about it.

Coach talks to Bitty because he has a good head on his shoulders and seems
to have his life together. He asks for advice after making sure Bitty knows he
doesn’t have to talk to him if he isn’t comfortable and Bitty is slightly
confused why he’s being asked but rolls with it.

Don’t think about what would happen if Bitty gets injured during a game and Jack’s on a roadie.

Don’t think about Jack’s level of panic when he tries to call/text Bitty after his own game and gets no response.

Don’t think about how he responds when he calls Bitty’s phone and Lardo answers, and he can hear the quaver in her voice.

Don’t think about how he’ll be climbing the walls of his hotel room and practically tearing himself apart because he can’t be there to watch over Bitty.

Don’t think about how he jumps in his car the second he gets back to Providence, with 3 days of beard growth and yesterday’s clothes on, and drives up to Samwell, and he’s driving about 90 and praying the cops don’t pull him over.

Don’t think about him throwing the front door of the Haus open, and the kitchen is empty, and he goes straight up to Bitty’s room, not even saying hi to anyone, and all the frogs are wide-eyed and whispering “that’s Jack Zimmermann!” to each other but no one DARES to get in his way.

Don’t think about how he eases open Bitty’s door, and sees him curled up so small on his bed, and Dieu merci, nothing’s broken but he can see a huge bruise on Bitty’s cheek and his arm’s in a sling, and he’s asleep now but Jack can see the unmistakable signs that Bitty’s been crying, and Jack’s heart just breaks for him.

Don’t think about Jack closing the door behind him and crawling very carefully into Bitty’s bed, curling up around him and holding him like Bitty’s the most precious thing in the whole world.

UUUGGGHHHHHH THIS IS EVERYTHING I WANT/NEED.
