Okay okay so basically this is the soulmate AU where you see black and white until you see your soulmate AU.

And of course the soulmate thing adds to the love square.

Marinette first sees color when she is very young. She is walking down the street and is faced with a huge Agreste Brand poster starring the young Adrien Agreste.

Adrien first sees color when he meets Ladybug. Right when she falls onto him, his world is full of color and he’s ecstatic since he thought that due to his limited contact with people, he believed he would never find her.

One day Marinette hears Adrien talk to Nino about soulmates, but is saddened to hear that he met his soulmate the day before school started, so she believes it’s impossible for her to be his.

Chat Noir asks Ladybug when she first saw color, hoping that it would be the same day that he saw her, but she then tells him that she’s seen color ever since she was a little girl.

love square and angst ensues.

It’s only after Adrien nervously chuckles and hesitantly backs away that she realizes that she forgot the “to the movies with me” part of her sentence
