you know what i want to see from season 2??

i want alec, to get sick and tired of maryse and her comments about magnus, or for him to not be able to be in the institute because he cant stand people constantly talking about jace, and how they havent found him yet, and he needs to get away from it, or any reason alec needs to just leave the institute

and without even thinking he goes straight to magnus’, because magnus is truly the only person he can be around right now, so he just storms over there, seeing magnus’ being the only thought on his mind, he doesnt even call ahead or text to see if magnus is in

when he gets there, he hammers on the door for a good five minutes, but theres no answer, but alec needs to see magnus, so he turns his back to the door and just slides down until he’s sat on the floor and wraps his hands around his knees and waits

about an hour later magnus returns and see’s alec sat against his door, he see’s the look on alec’s face and instantly knows that alec doesnt want to talk, so he walks up to him and holds out his hand, patiently waiting for alec to make the next move

alec grabs his hand and allows magnus to pull him into a hug, wrapping his arms around magnus’ neck and gripping onto him for dear life and they just stand there hugging

finally alec’s grip lessons and he allows magnus to take him into the apartment and sit him on the sofa, alec still isnt ready to talk so magnus goes and changes into something comfortable, takes his makeup off, texts izzy telling her where alec is, because he just knows alec wont have told anyone where he went

he goes to sit on the sofa next to alec, and opens his arms in invitation, and alec moves instantly, setting himself on magnus’ lap and allows himself to be hugged, to be looked after, to be protected, and they sit there, not talking for as long as alec needs, magnus just softly brushing his hands through alec’s hair, letting alec take the comfort he needs
