So I graphed the statistics from Autostraddle’s list of dead lesbians, bisexual, and queer women.
while that list is worthy af the statistician in me would like to remind you all that a more accurate way to do this graph would be dead queer women per total queer women onscreen that year and sure the numbers would be shady as shit back in the 70s because we had like all of 2 lesbians but it would be a lot more accurate because i bet at least 50% of the dramatic increase in dead queer ladies is explained by the increase in how okay it is to show queer ladies like the point still stands that too many of us are fucking dead but like??? stats
