the best thing about superman is that he has, absolutely, 110%, held his cape over someone in the rain and walked them home. the best thing about superman? he scoops kittens out of trees because he knows he’s making the week of the kids watching. if a kid arm wrestled with superman, superman would dramatically fake losing so the kid could brag about it. superman would bake brownies to bring to a justice league meeting because everyone’s had a tough month. the best thing about superman is that he could be walking through hell itself, and he’d still find a way to smile to put someone at ease. do you ever think about how tired he has to be, because even if he doesn’t need to sleep there comes a point where you just need to shut your brain down, and superman waits for days and days just to do that because of everyone who needs him. the best thing about superman? superman
