I’m already so fucking tired of everyone posting that she’s won and blah blah blah. Stop. Just stop. Understand that this is not over.
1. True, no one votes until July, but they’ve told us they’re voting Hillary and it’s unlikely that the national preference towards Hillary is going to change in the seven remaining primaries, so they will have no good reason to change sides.
2. That’s why they’re calling her the “presumptive” nominee, same as Trump.
3. Superdelegates are only going to switch sides if it becomes clear they’re supporting a candidate with less of the popular vote- Hillary, by the way, currently has a 3-million vote lead.
4. She is not evil, she is a person with whom you disagree. Jesus Christ, guys, I thought we were better than this. Spoiler alert, the reason you think she’s a freaking antichrist is a) you’re misinformed or b) sexism. She can’t be as “cool” as Bernie because she’s a woman and she is judged more harshly, so…
4b. Cannot find evidence that she has actual charges laid against her in federal court.
5. Pretty much unless Hillary drops out, Bernie can’t win this. He made the primary race better and got his ideas out there and got a whole bunch of young people like us interested in politics, which is GREAT! I love Bernie! However, he has pretty much lost the Democratic primary. He had a good run, but the nominee is going to be Hillary. Please be gracious about it.
And finally, those of you who can vote, you really, really need to vote in November for Hillary. The Republicans have nominated Trump, and honestly, we need to do anything we can to not let that asshole run this country. At this point, Hillary is the only other option, and she’s a good politician besides and she will make a fine President.
