imagine a world where finals are due during Christmas and when a devout Christian points this out their professor says “turn it in online before it starts”, effectively giving them a day shorter deadline.

to all the non Jews who just don’t get it. yom kippur just happened and is one of the two holiest days in the Jewish year and we’re forced to go to school or lose credit to go and observe it.
this same thing happens all religions in america besides Christianity
I’m so sick of Christians whining about stuff that happens to people of other faiths literally all the time. Like seriously buck up and get over it. That’s life. Sometimes you don’t get your way.
op is jewish and is making a comparison. op wasn’t literally saying their sister has a christmas exam, op was saying their sister has an exam on a jewish holy day and making a comparison to christmas, because a lot of people would be appalled if they had exams on christmas, but this happens all the time to jewish people and those of other faiths in some countries.
