• You are surrounded by pidgeys and rattatas. Everywhere you go, this is all you see. Even when you are not playing, they are still there. When you dream, it is all you see.
• A new Pokemon is only one paw print away, you walk one direction and this never changes. You go all directions for miles, and still the Pokemon is not there. You wonder if it ever was.
• The gym is controlled by a different team than your own. You fight for your team, yet the color never changes. The more Pokemon you fight, the more there seem to be.
• You look up and you are in a part of town you’ve never been. You don’t remember how you got there. How far from home have you gone? You are scared to find the answer.
• The servers are down. You try to login, over and over, yet there is no luck. Have they always been down? After hours of trying, you wonder if you ever really played.
• The egg only need .1 km to be hatched. You walk for what feels like days and yet still the egg has not hatched. You keep walking and walking, wandering around. When it finally hatches, it’s a pidgey.
• You head to a pokestop, yet you are told it is too far away. No matter how close you get, it never seems to be enough.
• You try to catch a new Pokemon. You throw pokeballs and yet they all seem to miss, no matter how close they get. You reach your last ball, and finally the Pokemon appears to be caught. It escapes and runs away.
• Everywhere you go, it seems people are playing Pokemon Go. Has it always been this way? You meet others along your own journey and strangers feel more like old friends.
• Your phone dies. Didn’t you just start playing? It was at full charge and yet it always dies. You bring an extra battery, yet it is dead too.
