now that I’m thinking about it my favorite story about men refusing to shut the fuck up is once I was running a training for the swim lessons program I work for and there was this clutch of guys talking over me and I was the head honcho the big cheese so I looked at them and said “hi yeah I’m talking now can you pay attention please” and they were like “whooooaaaaa hahaha” and their boss was like LISTEN TO HER and I grinned
